4K Media Inks Yu-Gi-Oh! Deals with Funko, GameStop

4K Media, the Konami Digital Ent. subsidiary that manages the Yu-Gi-Oh!brand outside of Asia, has secured new licensing agreements for the popular anime with collectibles purveyor Funko and specialty brands and games retailer GameStop. The deals, negotiated and announced by Jennifer Coleman, VP of Licensing & Marketing, cover the worldwide marketplace (exc. Asia).

“We are elated to welcome both Funko and GameStop to the Yu-Gi-Oh!family. We are impressed with both companies’ creative designs for new and engaging collectibles encompassing so many of our central characters and monsters,” said Coleman. “Yu-Gi-Oh! fans around the globe eagerly await each new licensed product introduction, which not only keeps the brand fresh and front of mind, but also serves to invigorate demand for all things Yu-Gi-Oh!”

Funko will launch a line of stylized vinyl figures and related products featuring fan-favorite characters and monsters from the franchise. And GameStop is creating a distinctive line of 4-inch Yu-Gi-Oh!figurines for sale online and in stores, as well as at partner stores across the globe.
