Yu-Gi-Oh! Gets An Art Show During Anime Expo 2019

To celebrate 20 years of the smash hit franchise Yu-Gi-Oh!, Los Angeles based art gallery Gallery 1988 has teamed up with Konami Cross Media to curate a new art exhibition to open during Anime Expo 2019, being held next month.

Over 50 of the gallery's most popular artists have been commissioned to create artwork inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh!’s colorful and iconic characters. Opening on the same weekend as  Anime Expo, one-of-a-kind pieces and prints have been created, inspired by the work of Yu-Gi-Oh! creator Kazuki Takahashi, and they are all set to debut at the exhibit's opening reception on July 4th. Six different limited-edition screen prints will be available for purchase at the gallery, and a once-in-a-lifetime installation from Pretty In Plastic will also be displayed at the gallery during the exhibition, making it a must for any Yu-Gi-Oh fan.

The show opens to public on Friday July 5th starting at 7PM and runs through Sunday July 14th with free admission. The schedule is as follows:

Friday July 5 th 7PM-10PM
