Yu-Gi-Oh!: Rebecca's 10 Coolest Cards

Rebecca Hawkins, the anime-exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! character is quite the prodigy. Here are her coolest cards.

Rebecca Hawkins, the anime-exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! character is quite the prodigy. At a very young age (depending on which version of the anime you're watching, especially) she became a Duel Monsters champion, and it's easy to see why. She's very skilled.

Her deck is full of interesting cards that are super strong, and also super cool. She's quite the fan of dragons, and stacks her deck with all sorts of them, such as Luster Dragon.

10. Luster Dragon

Luster Dragon is a normal, four-star monster with 1900 attack points. It's blue and has a sort of ancient look about it. Interestingly, this card has an anime-exclusive variant called Ruby Dragon that is literally just a red recoloring of it with less attack points. Why would Rebecca use that when she could just carry an additional copy of this card instead? It's just better, full stop.

9. Gravity Bind

Gravity Bind is a trap card that stops all level four and higher monsters from attacking. This card is cool because of how Rebecca uses it. She locks down her opponents and then whittles away their life points with effects, including using a few that will come up on the list a bit later. This strategy carries Rebecca to quite a few victories, such as during her duel with Vivian in the KC Grand Championship.

8. Luster Dragon #2

Luster Dragon #2 is odd because it looks nothing like the original Luster Dragon. That's fine, though. This card is a lot cooler anyway. Luster Dragon #2 is a normal six-star monster with 2400 attack points.

The dragon feeds on emeralds, which are actually growing out of it. That combined with the rest of its body work really well together, and create quite the enchanting monster. Its flavor text even mentions that even those being attacked can't stop looking at its beauty.

7. Diamond Head Dragon

Diamond Head Dragon is another beautiful dragon, with this one having diamonds growing out of it. It's summoning conditions are very strange. It can only be summoned when a dragon is brought back to the field from the graveyard and then activating Adamantine Sword Revival. Then, that dragon is tributed for this monster, which gains its attack points plus 1000. A bit extra, but it is a cool card.

6. Guardian Angel Joan

Guardian Angel Joan is a heavenly seven-star monster with 2800 attack points. The card has a really stunning design that just radiates pure power, which it does have in spades. When this card destroys a monster, the player gains life points equal to its attack, which is a great effect for Rebecca's deck. It combos specifically well with the next monster on this list, Fire Princess.

5. Fire Princess

Fire Princess is a key component to Rebecca's deck. Besides just having a really cool design, this monster has a very useful effect. Every time that the player gains life points, the opponent loses 500 of their own.

Many cards in Rebecca's deck, such as Guardian Angel Joan, focus on gaining life points. As such, when Fire Princess is on the field, this results in damage. With the anime starting off players with only 4000 attack points, this can be used to pretty easily dismantle opponents.

4. Witch Of The Black Forest

Yugioh Witch Of The Black Forest

Witch of the Black Forest is a card that, before being nerfed, would allow the player to add any monster from their deck to hand with 1500 defense points or less upon being sent to the graveyard. This is an incredibly powerful effect that resulted in the card being banned for some time. Beyond this, Witch of the Black Forest has a super cool design that really does fit the witch motif very well.

3. Injection Fairy Lilly

Injection Fairy Lilly is an incredibly weak card with only 400 attack points. However, during battle, the player can give up 2000 life points in order to have this card gain 3000 attack points, allowing it to beat over practically anything. An absolute beast. In addition, this effect allows it to bypass the effect of Gravity Bind, as it is less than four stars. This way, Rebecca can still duel with a powerful card.

2. Shadow Ghoul

Yu-Gi-Oh! Rebecca Vs. Leon

Shadow Ghoul is a card that Rebecca used in her first-season deck. The card gains 100 attack points for each monster in the graveyard. That effect is not good, and it only starts out with 1600 attack points, so double not good. Despite this, it was sort of treated as Rebecca's ace when she used it, as she was all about getting other monsters in the graveyard. But then Yugi taught her about the Heart of the Cards, and the rest was history. Thankfully she dropped the card from her future decks for far better ones.

1. Marie The Fallen One

Marie the Fallen One is yet another card that is great for Rebecca. When it is in the graveyard, the player gains 200 life points every turn. In addition to that effect, Marie the Fallen One has a really cool design, with jet black skin and large wings. There is something very sinister about it, and her coy smile indicates that there is more below the surface we don't know about.
