Yu-Gi-Oh!: Tea's 10 Coolest Cards

Yu-Gi-Oh!: Tea's 10 Coolest Cards

From the iconic Dark Magician Girl to Mirror Force, here are 10 of Tea's coolest cards that were featured throughout the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.

One of the most powerful duelists in all of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime is, surprisingly, Tea Gardner. As one of the only Yu-Gi-Oh! duelists with a 100% win rate in the series, she's something of an icon. With that in mind, it surely means that she has some pretty cool cards to back up her skills.

Most of Tea's deck was seen in Noah's virtual world where she dueled Crump in order to keep control of her body. During this duel, she showed off an array of spellcaster-type monsters that had plenty of different abilities, including her Deck Master, Dark Magician Girl.

10. Dark Magician Girl

Dark Magician Girl was chosen as Tea's Deck Master in her duel with Crump. As her Deck Master, Dark Magician Girl was able to speak telepathically with Tea and offer her advice, among other abilities.

Dark Magician Girl is one of the most iconic monsters in the entire game. While she's one of Yugi's ace monsters and one of the most important in the Battle City arc, it was a ton of fun getting to see her work with Tea to take on the mess of a penguin that is Crump.

9. Waboku

Yugioh Harpie Lady

Waboku is easily one of Tea's most famous cards, and this is because she drew it in her face-off with Mai and didn't remember what it did. Once she remembered what it did, she was able to save herself from losing her monsters or taking any battle damage that turn, which was part of what allowed her to take the upper hand in the duel against Mai.

8. Pot Of Greed

Yu-gi-oh! Pot of Greed in the Yu-Gi-Oh!

The Yu-Gi-Oh! card Pot of Greed has become a major meme among fans of the show, but it actually played a pretty significant role for Tea in the anime.

Jokes aside, Pot of Greed is a very powerful card that allows the player to refresh their hand with two cards, which is very powerful no matter the situation that it is played in. The card is absolutely iconic, as it is a majorly powerful card that has been on the ban list since it has been in existence, which, beyond making it a powerful card, also makes it one of Tea's coolest.

7. Offerings To The Doomed

Yugioh Offerings To The Doomed

Offerings to the Doomed is a very powerful card that allows the player to destroy one of their opponent's cards, no questions asked. This, of course, is an incredibly powerful effect and is one that Tea uses in her battle against Crump.

While the downside is absolutely huge, skipping the next draw phase, in terms of the anime, it's really not that large of a downside. Plot armor exists, after all.

6. Fire Sorcerer

Yu-Gi-Oh! Fire Sorcerer

Fire Sorcerer is not a good card; it's a flip effect monster that allows players to remove two cards from play from their hands randomly in order to inflict 1600 points of damage to the opponent.

There aren't many situations in which this would ever come in handy. However, Fire Sorcerer herself is kind of a baddie. She's got a killer hat, and her outfit is incredible. She's not a good monster, but she's dressed to the nines.

5. Graceful Charity

Yu-Gi-Oh! Tea Dark Side of Dimensions

Graceful Charity is another incredibly powerful card that allows the user to draw three cards as long as they discard two after drawing. This, just like Pot of Greed, gives the player a huge amount of advantage with absolutely no downside to speak of.

The card has also resided on the ban list for years and isn't likely to be removed any time soon. Since the ban list doesn't exist in the anime, of course, Tea is able to use it freely.

4. Maha Vailo

Maha Vailo is a card that Yugi stated reminds him of himself. While Dark Magician might be his favorite card, Maha Vailo is another spellcaster that is full of potential if used correctly, gaining more and more power with each equip card it has attached to it. Tea uses Maha Vailo to pretty solid effect in her duel with Crump, utilizing its ability to grant it a pretty hefty attack point bonus.

3. Gemini Elf

Yu-Gi-Oh! Toon Gemini Elf

Gemini Elf was never used by Tea, but this card was in her deck during her duel with Crump, as it absolutely should have been. The two sisters who alternate their attacks with one another have 1900 attack points, which at one point made them a solid competitive choice, as no other four-star monsters had this kind of raw power. The two sisters were also notably used by Pegasus, one of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime's best villains.

2. Sage's Stone

Yu-gi-oh Sage's Stone

When Dark Magician Girl is on the field, activating Sage's Stone allows the player to call a Dark Magician from their deck to the field. This was used by Tea in the virtual world to call none other than Yugi's Dark Magician to her side of the field in a blaze of absolute glory. While that alone was iconic, the two magicians then combined their power to win Tea the duel.

1. Mirror Force

Yu-Gi-Oh! Mirror Force

Mirror Force is one of the best variants in the collection of Mirror Force cards, and it's a standard in Yu-Gi-Oh!, as, once it is activated upon the opponent attacking, all of their attack position monsters are destroyed. It's incredibly strong and an absolute power move. As such, it had to take a spot on the list of Tea's coolest cards, no doubt about it.
