Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel: The 10 Best Cards For A Flowandereeze Deck

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel: The 10 Best Cards For A Flowandereeze Deck

Making a Flowandereeze deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel? These are the cards you'll want to use.

Floowandereeze is one of the strongest archetypes in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. Besides its cute bird theme, this deck has a playstyle like no other. Its ability to Normal Summon Monsters more than once per turn, along with being able to do so on your opponent’s turn, make this avian deck tough to break through.

With cards like Floowandereeze & Robina or Floowandereeze & Eglen that can search for the next piece in the bird puzzle, these cards can create some extremely powerful boards that can only be broken by a few well-timed cards. Otherwise, you’ll be faced with a massive flock of birds that will not let you play Yu-Gi-Oh!

10. Floowandereeze & Robina

Having Robina in your opening hand is one of the best things that can happen to you if you win the dice roll. Robina is the best starter in the Floowandereeze deck. Once Normal Summoned, Robina can search for any Level four or lower Winged Beast Monster from your deck and, once you find it, you are able to Normal Summon a Winged Beast from your hand.

Whether you search for an Eglen to continue your combo or another missing piece for later on, a second Normal Summon is extremely important to this deck.

9. Floowandereeze & Eglen

While Robina is one of the most important cards in the decks, you can argue that Eglen is just as, if not more, important. When Eglen is Normal Summoned, you can search your deck for a Level seven or higher Winged Beast Monster.

While the easy answer would be to search for an Empen, cards like Mist Valley Apex Avian and Raiza The Mega Monarch are also viable targets that you can end your board with to prevent your opponent from even attempting to break yours.

8. Floowandereeze & Empen

Since Master Duel banned Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds, your other option becomes the in-archetype boss Monster, Floowandereze & Empen. This card is a great tower that your opponent has to overcome without the use of attack position monsters since Empen will negate all of their effects and half their ATK and DEF if they battle with it.

Empen, when Tribute Summoned, can also fetch a powerful Spell or Trap card from the deck, giving you easy access to your field spell or even Advent of Adventure.

7. Floowandereeze & Stri

Stri is one of the more toolbox-type cards in the Floowandereeze arsenal. This card can control your opponent’s Graveyard by banishing one card when Normal Summoned. This effect might not seem that impactful, but when up against decks like Tearlaments or even the random Destiny Hero: Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer, you’ll be thanking Stri for its amazing effect.

Stri is also another extender for your Normal Summon combos if you need an extra body on the field to tribute for Empen.

6. Floowandereeze & Toccan

Whenever any of the Floowandereeze Monsters leave the field, they get banished rather than get sent to the Graveyard. With Toccan, you can fetch some of those banished cards back to your hand for later turns.

Besides being a utility card, Toccan is also a great extender for the deck. In a game where the pool for Floowandereeze-named cards is limited, you’ll take any name you can get. Luckily, Toccan is one of the good names in the bird archetype.

5. Floowandereeze And The Maginificent Map

There are some interesting things you can do with a Floowandereeze deck. Since many of your effects can trigger when you Normal Summon, you can do something known as chain blocking. This is known as the act of performing multiple chain links to protect the most important effect from being negated. Cards like Floowandereeze And The Magnificent Map allow you to do that by simultaneously Normal Summoning and banishing one of your cards.

Not only does Magnificent Map open up many chain-blocking plays, but it can also trigger during your opponent’s turn. No, comrade, it’s not your turn, it’s OUR turn.

4. Mist Valley Apex Avian

Finding a card that indirectly supports an archetype is one of the best things you can do as a Yu-Gi-Oh! player. Mist Valley Apex Avian works well with the Floowandereeze deck since it is a Level seven Winged Beast Monster, which means it can be searched by Eglen, and the way that the deck Summons a ton of Monsters gives you easy access to tributes to Summon Apex Avian.

This card is a great way to end your board because, if your opponent plays a problematic Monster, you can easily negate it and destroy it with Apex Avian’s effect without even targeting the card.

3. Pot Of Extravagance

Let’s be frank. Sometimes you brick. Pretty hard. That’s where Pot of Extravagance comes in. Floowandereeze does almost no summoning from the Extra Deck so that thing is completely useless to you. Might as well use it to draw some more cards.

Although it is one of the best Pot cards, there are few decks that can utilize Pot Of Extravagance to its full potential, given that most decks center their gameplan around the Extra Deck, but Floowandereeze is one of the few and one of the best.

2Terraforming

Just like Pot of Greed and other banned cards, the simpler the card text is the more broken it is. Terraforming can add a Field Spell from your deck to the hand. Simple as that.

What makes this card so strong is that it becomes a fourth copy of Magnificent Map and makes sure that you open the Field Spell most of the time. The deck can easily take victories without ever seeing Magnificent Map, but it makes it way easier to have it.

1. Dimension Shifter

Dimension Shifter is another card that doesn’t fit within the archetype. This card does not so much help your Floowandereeze game plan, but rather it stops your opponent’s.

Most decks in Master Duel use their Graveyard as another tool for their gameplan. Whether its another pool of cards to work with or Monsters with effects that trigger in the Graveyard, a huge chunk of decks need that to function. Dimension Shifter banishes all cards instead of sending them to the Graveyard and since Floowandereeze cards trigger when banished, you don’t lose in that regard.
