Yu-Gi-Oh! The 10 Best Toon Monsters, Ranked
Yu-Gi-Oh! has seen the introduction of quite a few Toon monsters. Here's a look at 10 of the all-time best, ranked.
Ever since they showed up in Maximillion Pegasus' Deck in the original anime, fans have fallen in love with the "Toon" series of Monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh! They are one of the oldest Archetypes in the game and are still getting new support cards even to this day.
Yu-Gi-Oh! The 10 Best Trap Hole Cards, Ranked
"Toon" Monsters are an interesting set of cards. They all work around "Toon World" being on the Field, giving them more effects and in some cases are required to prevent them from destroying themselves. Their ability to attack directly is powerful, allowing for massive damage outside of "Toon" mirror matches. Some "Toon" Monsters are better than others, allowing for powerful combos in the Archetype.

10. Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon
"Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon" was apart of the original launch of "Toon" Monsters. "Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon," like most "Toon" Monsters, must be Special Summoned by Tributing two Monsters, allowing it to be Summoned without needing to perform a Tribute Summon. "Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon" is great for its ability to attack directly with a whooping 3000 Attack Points, which is nearly half of the opponent's Life Points. "Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon" is hard to get off the Field with its high Attack, especially if "Toon Kingdom" is there to give it an extra layer of protection,
9. Toon Ancient Gear Golem
The "Toon" version of the fan-favorite Boss Monster of the "Ancient Gear" Archetype, "Toon Ancient Gear Golem" is also a great "Toon." Unfourantely, it does require a Normal Summon to Summon it naturally. However, once "Toon Ancient Gear Golem" is on the Field, it becomes a big threat.
Yu-Gi-Oh: Best Dragon Xyz Monsters
If the opponent has no "Toon" Monsters (and they likely won't), it can attack directly. This is 3000 Attack directly, and not just that, but any Spell or Trap card effects can't be activated when it attacks. "Toon Ancient Gear Golem" can even do piercing damage when attacking into a Defense Position Monster.
8. Toon Cannon Soldier
"Toon Cannon Soldier" is practically an identical version of its regular counterpart. When it's on the Field, "Toon Cannon Soldier" can Tribute a Monster on the Field in order to inflict 500 damage to the opponent's Life Points directly. Like most other "Toon" Monsters, "Toon Cannon Soldier" can attack the opponent directly while they don't control a "Toon" Monster. "Toon Cannon Soldier" was so good for enabling many FTKs, giving extra consistency to them by essentially having six copies of the same card in the Deck. While not the most useful in "Toon" Decks, "Toon Cannon Soldier" is fantastic in FTK Decks.
7. Toon Cyber Dragon
"Toon Cyber Dragon" is another "Toon" Monsters that's essentially a copy and paste of the original. The only difference is that "Toon Cyber Dragon" is able to attack directly if the opponent controls no "Toons" with "Toon World" on the Field, and it can't attack the turn its Summoned. "Toon Cyber Dragon" is considered a "Cyber Dragon" Monster, which means it can be used to Contact Fuse into "Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon." "Toon" Decks have the Extra Deck space to play this combo easily and allow them to take care of the opponent's Monsters in the Extra Monster Zone.
6. Toon Gemini Elf
"Toon Gemini Elf" is one of the few Level 4 "Toon" Monsters. It is also one of the earliest. Hand Looping is one of the strongest effects in Yu-Gi-Oh! Being able to lower the number of cards in the opponent's Hand is incredibly powerful. This is what makes "Toon Gemini Elf" so good. As long as "Toon World" is on the Field and the opponent has no "Toon" Monsters, "Toon Gemini Elf" can attack directly. This makes it incredibly easy to proc its effect to randomly discard a card from the opponent's Hand.
5. Toon Harpie Lady
"Toon Harpie Lady" is one of the most recent "Toon" Monsters, and the first time a Level 4 "Toon" Monster could be Special Summoned rather than Normal Summoned. While its Attack and Defense stats aren't the best, being able to get a body onto the Field for free (if "Toon World" is on the Field) is fantastic.
Yu-Gi-Oh: Best Raidraptor Cards
If another "Toon" Monster is on the Field when its Summoned, it can also destroy a Spell or Trap card on the Field. This effect is especially good since it doesn't Target, so the opponent can't choose to chain the card that is going to be destroyed.
4. Toon Dark Magician Girl
For a while, "Toon Dark Magician Girl" was considered to be the best "Toon" Monster. This wasn't due to any of its effects, as it mimics the original "Dark Magician Girl's." Rather, it was due to its lack of effect. Since the card designers wanted it to share the same effect as the original, the text was getting too long for the card. As such, "Toon Dark Magician Girl" is one of two "Toon" Monsters that can attack the turn it is Summoned. It can still attack directly, meaning "Toon Dark Magician Girl" is perfect to go for OTKs with "Toon Rollback."
3. Red-Eyes Toon Dragon
"Red-Eyes Toon Dragon" is a fantastic "Toon" Monster, partially thanks to its feature of being considered a "Red-Eyes" card. This allows it to be Summoned from the Deck by "The Black Stone Of Legend." It can also recycle "Red-Eyes Toon Dragon" back into the Deck while adding itself back to the Hand in order to Summon it again. "Red-Eyes Toon" Dragon" can also Summon any "Toon" Monster from the Hand for no cost and ignoring their Summoning conditions. This makes it a lot easier to flood the Field with Toon Monsters, and with so many ways to get to it make it the easiest "Toon" Monster to Summon.
2. Toon Dark Magician
"Toon Dark Magician" is one of the best "Toon" Monsters and the only "Toon" that has two unique effects. Once it's on the Field, "Toon Dark Magician" can use its two effects at the simple cost of simply discarding 1 "Toon" card.
Yu-Gi-Oh: The 10 Best Aromage Cards
One of these is adding any "Toon" Spell or Trap card from the Deck to the Hand. The better effect is being able to Summon any "Toon" Monster from the Deck, ignoring their Summoning conditions. Summoning from the Deck is the best kind of effect a card can have, and plenty of "Toon" Monsters can start making powerful plays once they're on the Field.
1. Toon Black Luster Soldier
"Toon Black Luster Soldier" is the best "Toon" Monster. It, along with "Toon Dark Magician Girl," are the only two "Toons" that can attack the turn its Summoned. To Summon it, "Toon Black Luster Soldier" simply requires Tributing of "Toon" Monsters whose combined Levels equal 8 or more. However, its incredibly easy to cheat out onto the Field. Once there, it can do powerful Life Point damage directly with its massive 3000 Attack. It can also Target and Banish 1 card on the Field per turn, at the cost of not being able to attack that turn. It's great for swinging in for massive damage or getting rid of a problem card on the Field.
